Medical Disclaimer

1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
VitalNoor provides telemedicine services and is not a substitute for in-person emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, life-threatening condition, or require immediate medical attention, contact your local emergency services immediately.
2. Telemedicine Limitations
Telemedicine consultations have inherent limitations. Our clinicians cannot perform physical examinations, take biopsies, or conduct in-person diagnostic procedures through the platform. Certain dermatological conditions may require in-person evaluation for accurate diagnosis. Your clinician will advise you if an in-person visit is recommended.
3. Physician-Reviewed, Not a Diagnosis Guarantee
All consultations are reviewed by licensed physicians and dermatologists. However, a telemedicine consultation does not guarantee a definitive diagnosis. Assessments are based on the information and photographs you provide, and accuracy depends on the quality and completeness of that information. Treatment recommendations are made based on clinical judgement and available evidence.
4. Prescriptions and Medications
All medications prescribed through VitalNoor require a valid prescription reviewed and issued by a licensed physician. Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the treating physician and are not guaranteed for every consultation. You must follow the prescribed dosage and application instructions exactly as directed by your physician.
5. Side Effects and Adverse Reactions
All medications carry a risk of side effects and adverse reactions. Your physician will discuss known side effects with you before prescribing any treatment. You are responsible for reading medication information provided with your prescription. If you experience any unexpected side effects or adverse reactions, discontinue use and contact your treating physician immediately through the platform or seek in-person medical care.
6. Use of Data for Research
With your consent, anonymised and de-identified clinical data may be used for medical research and service improvement purposes. No personally identifiable information is ever included in research datasets. You may opt out of research data use at any time without affecting your care or access to services.
7. Role of Technology and Algorithms
VitalNoor uses proprietary algorithms and clinical decision support tools to assist our physicians and clinicians. These tools assist clinicians in their workflow and never make clinical decisions independently. All treatment plans, diagnoses, and prescriptions are determined by licensed physicians exercising their own clinical judgement. Technology serves as a tool to enhance, not replace, physician expertise.
8. Patient Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical history, including current medications, allergies, pre-existing conditions, and any relevant health information. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the accuracy of your assessment and the safety of prescribed treatments. You must inform your clinician of any changes to your health status during your treatment programme.
9. Emergency Contact Information
In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately:
- Pakistan: Rescue 1122
- Saudi Arabia: 997 (Saudi Red Crescent)
- United States / Canada: 911
- United Kingdom: 999 or 111 for urgent non-emergency guidance
Do not use the VitalNoor platform for emergency or urgent medical situations.
